I’m so super proud of the girls and their horses. Last night they went to their first ever pleasure show and rode in a few classes. Poor kids had to dive into a completely different type of riding without any practice or knowledge of it but they did great! I’m so super proud of the girls and their horses. Last night they went to their first ever pleasure show and rode in a few classes. Poor kids had to dive into a completely different type of riding without any practice or knowledge of it but they did great! Beau had an especially frustrating time as it was HotRod’s first time out this year and she hasn’t had any practice with him due to lameness. However she did fantastic and we learned that he’s a good safe guy who probably knows way more about this than we do . I’m so grateful for my amazing friends Tera M Alzamora for hauling us and Megan Bayes and John Bayes for going out of their way to help us figure out what bit HotRod prefers and how he handles- y’all are the best! There’s definitely a learning curve to a new mount.

My kids love showing at the local fair no matter what animal it is. Of course we love them all but it is a hectic week to say the least we have fun and do our best.
